Reality Lens is a cutting-edge 360° virtual tour brand developed by Niche Energy Solutions. In early 2024, Niche made a strategic investment in a Matterport 360 camera to support their decarbonisation project for schools across Anglesey.
With Anglesey located 80 miles from Niche's headquarters in Mold, traditional site visits were time-consuming and resource-intensive. To streamline operations, Niche began capturing immersive 360° virtual tours of each school, enabling remote access to every site at any time. This innovation proved invaluable for accurately planning mechanical pipework and radiator installations, ensuring every detail aligned with design specifications.
The result? Each Matterport tour saved the team up to 3 hours of travel time, drastically improving efficiency while maintaining high standards of precision and planning.
